AWRS 12. 11 DAYS: MURCHISON FALLS / KIBALE N. PARK / QUEEN N.PARK / BWINDI / BUNYONYI /

Day 1: Pick from Airport and onward transfer to Murchison falls National Park lunch in Masindi. Transfer to the Magnificent Top of the falls where you will enjoy your site seeing as you marvel at the Mighty Nile forced into a seven Meter narrow gorge to thunder 45 metres below in a series of cascades. The Nile can be viewed at different points up to the Baker’s Summit. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Resort.


Day 2: Half day game drive. Wildlife in this area includes Giraffe, Elephant, Jackson Harte beast, Lion, Uganda Kob, Oribi, baboons, buffalos, Warthogs and vervet monkeys. You also see, Ground horn bill, hippos, Bush buck, Water buck. After lunch, take a Nile Cruise for game viewing at close quarters, a paradise of the Hippo and Crocodiles. The launch trip will end up to the bottom of the falls. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Resort.


Day 3: Transfer to Kibale N.Park through Kagadi to Fort portal. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge, Travellers Inn.


Day 4: Leave for Kibale for chimps tracking. Other primates that may be observed are Red tailed monkeys, L’Hoest Monkeys, Black and white colobus Monkey and lots of Baboons, thereafter go for birding in the Bigodi community Swamp and leave for Travellers Inn or Ndali Lodge for Overnight rest.


Day 5: Transfer southwest towards Kasese town. Arrive, Queen E.N.Park, Check in at Mweya Safari Lodge for your Lunch and accommodation. In the afternoon, set out on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel connecting Lakes Edward and George. Here we will be greeted to an amazing display of abundant bird life around Mweya, more than 600 bird species have been recorded and what is thought to be the highest concentration of hippos in the entire African continent. We will then return to our hotel for some chilled soft drinks and dinner. Over night at Jacana Safari Camp or Mweya Safari Lodge.



Day 6: We set out early in the morning after breakfast and go on a game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes etc. We visit the Kasenyi sector famous for it's solitary buffaloes. We have an excellent chance to view just about every animal here at very close range. We return for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, we set out to visit the Baboon cliff and the crater lakes north of the park. We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight rest at Jacana Safari Camp or Mweya Safari Lodge.



Day 7: We set off early in the morning and head drive through Stunning savannah grasslands as we head towards the breathtaking adventures of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. After checking in, we go on guided tour looking for the many bird species available here. More than 230 different species of birds have been sighted. We return to the camp to get plenty of rest for the day ahead. Buhoma Homestead.



Day 8: After breakfast, we proceed for the morning briefing before we embark on one of the most exhilarating experiences in life. We go on a Gorilla trek which may last 1 hour to 10 hours or entire day. A cough in front of these giants could trigger the most unexpected reaction. When the gorillas are sighted, visitors will be guided to a distance within 6 metres to have a close range to see them. Visitors will be allowed to sit around these animals for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. We return to the camp longing for a good night's rest at Buhoma Homestead.



Day 9: After breakfast, we transfer to Lake Bunyonyi through rolling in green hills with beautiful contour gardens. Over night at Prime Island, Bushara Island or Bonyonyi Over land Camp.


Day10: After breakfast, we set out on a 4 hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park where we will go on a game drive in search of eland antelope, zebra, impala and many acacia- associated birds. We visit some of the lakes within the park where hippos, crocodiles and variety of water birds will be seen. We return for lunch and a short rest. After lunch, we set out on a guided walk around the park and crown off the afternoon with a boat ride on the lake. We return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay at Mantana Safari Camp.


Day 11: We complete our trip with the journey back to Kampala; have lunch at the Equator and onward transfer to the airport.
