AWRS 16. 7 DAYS KILIMANJARO MOUNTAIN CLIMB
MARANGU ROUTE


Day 1: Arrive and transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight rest.



Day 2: After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the Park Office for registration and get on trail beginning at Marangu which is the park gate at a 1800m on this route through fascinating rain forest to Mandara hut which is at 2750m



Day 3: Get on trail and gently ascending through an open alpine moor land which will take us 5-6hours walk to reach Horombo hut at3750m.



Day 4: After breakfast, hit the trail passing the cactus-like groundsel and the last water stream which moves into a lunar landscape of the saddle between Kibo and Mwenzi. The masoned Kibo hut is 4700m, reached for overnight rest.


Day 5: After a good rest, start very early morning for the summit hike Climax Uhuru peak .Here you will enjoy the most spectacular and unforgotten sun rise. Here after, descend to Horombo hut.


Day 6: After breakfast, get on trail and descend a leisurely walk and back to the park gate and out to Arusha. Late afternoon, visit the snake park in Arusha.


Day 7: Transfer to airport for your flight.
